  • Knowledgeable & confident subject leaders capable of leading their school’s improvement of the teaching phonics and early reading in KS2
  • KS2 teachers able to support early readers with their decoding skills

Pre-course Task:
  • Find your school’s copy of Letters and Sounds or save an on-line version
  • Identify your bottom 20% of readers in your class or Y3/Y4 if you are a subject leader
